Weakest Tamer Wiki

Ciel is an Adandara that accompanies Ivy and Sora. Though untamed by Ivy because of not having more magical energy, after Sora healed her wounds, she becomes very attached to her. She occasionally helps Ivy hunt prey in the forest and travels with her and Sora, even staying within the same vicinity to help Ivy when necessary despite not trusting most others.

Appearance[]

Ciel looks like a black panther while also a monster beast. She is a largely-built feline monster beast possessing thick dark grey to black fur, sharp claws, and blotches on its tail.

Personality[]

True to her species, Ciel is a ferocious monster with high physical capabilities and hunting skills. Upon their first interaction, she growls at Ivy despite her extremely weakened state. However, once healed, she opens up to Ivy and exhibits a friendlier disposition similar to that of a house cat, such as rubbing herself against Ivy, grooming herself, being playful with Sora (and the other slime), and enjoying being pet by Ivy. She is grateful to Ivy for saving her life and follows wherever Ivy goes.

Ciel seems to possess high intelligence with the ability to understand human speech and sense the presence of mana and people nearby. Ciel is cautious of other human beings and remains in hiding unless she senses someone she trusts. Ciel doesn't seem to mind loud noises, such as fireworks. She is rather competitieve towards especially Sora, like trying to see who can jump the highest. This is all in good fun however.

History[]

Ciel was gravely injured at the forest near Latome Village when Ivy and Sora came across her. Ciel was then saved by Sora when the slime enveloped Ciel with its body, using its special ability to mimic the healing potions it consumed to heal Ciel's injuries. Once healed, Ciel nuzzled herself against Ivy as a sign of thanks. Ivy then gave her the name "Ciel," after the French word for "sky." Approaching the gate to Latome village, Ciel hid herself in the bushes while Ivy enters, as her presence would scare others.

The next day, after nonoshis broke Ivy's traps, Ciel appeared and gave Ivy nine wild rabbits. As Ivy wrapped the wild rabbit meat in leaves, Ciel played and napped with Sora, though she departed after being thanked by Ivy for the meat. A day later, she appeared to scare off the adventurers harassing Ivy, who wanted revenge on her even though she didn't do any wrong to them. She hid herself again after feeling Ogto and Vellivera's presences.

After Ivy left Latome village, she appeared again, being greeted by Ivy with a body rub and accompanying her to hunt for food for dinner that night. The next day, Ciel warded off a being Ivy encountered by roaring at it. The party then proceeded to trek through the mountains where they are attacked by ogres. Ciel attacked one and fell into a river below but came back unharmed. Afterwards, she rested at a mountainside so as to not scare other adventurers gathered at the suppression squad's campsite.

Ciel didn't reappear until Ivy left Otolwa. This time, as Ivy began following the trail, Ciel appeared in public and was seen by the adventurers of Otolwa that Ivy had befriended. This initially shocked them, but they calmed down after realizing she was Ivy's companion.

Powers and Abilities[]

Ciel has the ability to instill fear to their prey by letting out a ferocious roar that causes them to lose consciousness. Weaker prey tend to die from shock after hearing her roar up-close. Ciel uses this skill to bring Ivy wild rabbits completely intact without damage to intestinal organs or the whole body. Her strength is overwhelming, able to defeat a whole hoard of beserk monsters without a scratch on her.

Ciel can easily outrun an adventurer who has a 3-star sprinting skill and can battle ogres without being injured. Ciel appears to also be able to detect hidden targets through mana and presence detection, when either hunting or avoiding danger.

Later on Ciel gains the ability to shapeshift into a slime thanks to Flame who created another super rare magic stone. Ciel still stands out as a slime, but is able to stay close to Ivy in her bag. It's magical energy is also much more hidden, though someone with the Magic Detect Skill, is still able to sense its overwhelming magic energy. Ciel however learns of a way to hide its presence completely (at least in Adandra form).[1]

Ciel is also able to create Ivy's tamer's mark on her own forehead. She is able to hide this at will, but prefers to keep it on. Ivy feels unsure whenever or not Ciel is truly a creature she tamed, since she never used her own magic, though it is clear everyone seems to agree that Ciel is. Especially since Ivy's distinct magic signature is felt from the mark.
